I live less than a block from a promenade along the water, and whenever I come back from anywhere, I always try to include that path in my route. My mum has always loved walking and even when she didn't have me she would walk every day for at least an hour, even when she was working in the UK, and she always walked on her own 'cause Uncle Hugh doesn't like walking. She says she does her thinking when she walks. Mum loves to be on her own. There are no parks near us but we are in the middle of the countryside, so I guess that's similar. We walk every day for at least an hour. In Switzerland we go for four, five hours at a time in the mountains.
