Almost a month ago the Negros Bloggers had our first blogger’s meet up at the Bacolod Casino Filipino with Janette Toral as our speaker. It was a night of food, fun and friendship. It was also my first time to get inside the casino. Yes, at my age, it was my first time! All the participants were given the P300 double the money certificate and I was one of the lucky ones who got the P500 1st bet certificate during the raffle. Using those 2 certificates from PAGCOR, my friends and I decided to go inside and place bets, anyway we didn’t need to put in cash. So we went inside and tried our “luck”. To my amazement, I WON!!! I went home bringing with me P2,000 cash!!! I was sooooo happy! A lot of my friends commented that it was a ” First Timer’s Luck.” It was the first time I heard about it and honestly, I don’t believe in LUCK, much more with a first timer’s luck. But I’m hoping to hear what you have to say to prove or disprove this.

1. I believe that. I experienced that when i was working in the Phils at IMI. Though im undergrad but every 4 months im included on promotion. like from operator i promoted as sub-leader, then In-line QC,QC patrol, trainer, QA Reliability leader, then Production line leader. For less than 5yrs i got this opportunity.
2. The next was the latest one. It was happened when i came back to Phils. I was worried because i bought a flatscreen TV here in qatar & they told me that there is a Tax payment but luckily i passed it to immigration without paying because someone assist me. i don’t experienced a hard time so i can say that im lucky…
no. i’ve been in a casino for the first time in the US. my aunt gave me 20$ to gamble. after the 10$ that i lost, i kept the remaining and just ate the night away! hehe
nope. i have tried going to the casino 2x only. not one cent. i guess it is not for me, or otherwise i will get hooked! same is true for me with sabong! hahaha

I have never been into a casino and so far I don’t want to.
Anyway, I don’t have any kind of luck when it comes to raffles and all sorts.
hmm.. i think i’m not also lucky when it comes to raffles.. therefore, i don’t believe in first timer’s luck .. i’m also trying my luck with “LOTTO” but i guess it wasn’t for me.. hehe

Probably just a coincidence. I really don’t believe on it even until now but it happened to me and my wife at the Bacolod Casino. We started with only P500 pesos just to enjoy the moment and we left casino with about P5000 winnings, lol. We were so happy coz it was our first time to play inside casino.
After that we never went back. Friends called it ‘Beginner’s Luck!”
B. No , I dont believe in first timer’s luck. I believe that when you “nail” it the first time, it was becuas of a long history of preparation. and yes, i dot blieve in accidents. I believe in a Pre-deigned life.

I believe in first timer’s luck too. Hehe. For some reason, my LUCK rate is higher when I am new to something. Say a contest, magic cards, tournaments and more.

Hi. i don’t believe the lotto isn’t luck. its the law of probality. if you win the lotto is the law of probality the same if you win the powerball or whatever. if a avoided a car accident and it should have happened but youve avoided it you did something to avoid it ,means that , that wasn’t luck it was the law of probality or it was your strategy to get out of this worst situation. just like lotto you must have a good method like analising past lotto draws to pick 3-5 winning numbers. i don’t believe in luck and everytime i win i disprove it. im going to win the lotto on strategy and law of probality not just some brainwashing word luck. i know there will be critics.
