QA #1: Leave the Kids or Bring a Nanny?

This coming summer vacation, we have plans of going on a tour in some of the tourist spots in the Philippines together with our friends.  However, since I have 2 kids (going 6 and a little over 2 years old) I’m sure I will really be super duper tired, especially that we plan to visit 4-5 places in 12 days by AIR, LAND and SEA.  My friends who’ve done this before have told me that I won’t probably call it a vacation since I will be overworked! So right now we have 2 options: 1.  Leave the kids with my in-laws – my mother in-law offered her services and told me my little girl is too young to enjoy the vacation so might as well leave her with them.  She suggests I bring only my boy.  However, this will make me feel guilty and maybe my princess will feel “unfair” … Continue reading →

8 Chocolaty Years

Dear Hubby, I wrote this poem for you at 1am while you and the kids were soundly asleep.  I have my baby monitor on to make sure I hear you snore hihihi. ************************************************* 8 CHOCOLATY YEARS Our marriage is like a Super Moist Chocolate Cake Which takes a lot of time and effort to bake. Most ingredients are sweet but some are not Just like what happens daily since we tied the knot. HH#1: Photography

The very first time we had our digital camera was back in 2005.  I was pregnant with our first born and hubby was about to leave for his first job in China.  That meant we will be separated and inorder for us not to forget how we looked like, we invested some bucks to buy a digicam.  From 2005 ’til the present, we have had 4 cameras – 2 Sonys and 2 Canons. In 2008, hubby decided to bring to the next level one of his hobbies, which is photography, so we decided to buy CANON EOS 1000D.  Since then, taking pictures became more exciting!  Although still considered as a beginner, well, he hasn’t really taken any lessons on photography, he has those “IT” shots that I am proud to showcase here in our blog. A Couples Delight Weekly Themes

A Couples Delight

I’m launching this blog, A Couples Delight, as an anniversary gift for my bestfriend since 1997, my boyfriend from 1998 – 2003, my husband for 8 years and my parenting partner since 2005.  The man who bought dresses, skirts and sleeveless , made me comfortable wearing them and told me I looked beautiful in them.  Someone who prayed with me and stayed with me in the worst times of my life.  The guy who has very tiny eyes yet has very large perspective in life.  Somebody who loves me the way I am, yet encourages me to be the best that I can be, in all aspects of my being, including but not limited to staying fit and beautiful, hihi.  It puts pressure on me but it makes me feel good when people compliment what they see  So I thank my hubby for all the years we’ve spent together, I can say I have … Continue reading →
